When life begins and the stages of prenatal development are scientific facts. Humanity – and our uniqueness as individuals – begins at day one, at fertilization. Life, in its most vulnerable form, should be protected.
That, in essence, is why we march. We march to end abortion, with the vision of a world where the beauty, dignity, and uniqueness of every human life are valued and protected.
Roe v Wade legalized abortion on demand in all 50 states in the U.S., overturning state laws prohibiting abortion in almost all states at the time. The date was January 22, 1973.
Since that time a March for Life has been held in Washington DC around that date.
RIght to Life of Lapeer County hosts a bus trip to the March every year.
